Digital Minds Cyber Psychology Research Group is comprised of a diverse team of researchers, our focus extends to areas such as telehealth applications, excessive internet use, and the influence of virtual reality on human cognition and behaviour.
The Group's primary objective is to generate robust empirical evidence and provide informed guidance on the intricate interplay between digital technologies and human experiences. These effects are increasingly prevalent and accessible through a wide range of popular devices, including personal computers and smartphones.
To bridge the gap between research and practice, we actively collaborate with both the digital production industry and the health/mental health sector. By translating empirical findings into practical applications, our vision is to foster positive public health outcomes. This will result the promotion of growth and advancement of the industry.
Through our interdisciplinary approach and strong partnerships, we strive to contribute to the development of evidence-based strategies, interventions, and policies. These will enhance the well-being of individuals in the digital age. By understanding and harnessing the potential benefits while mitigating the potential risks, we aim to create a healthier and more harmonious relationship between humans and technology.
