Bio

Kaiden Hein is a passionate PhD candidate specializing in clinical psychology with a focus on psychotic disorders and addictions. Currently, his research explores the impact of digital media on the emergence of psychotic symptoms in adolescents. With a keen aptitude for numbers and statistical analysis, Kaiden remains committed to mastering cutting-edge research techniques such as R studio and network analysis.

Kaiden's interest in teaching has been a constant throughout his academic journey. As an undergraduate, he tutored students in mathematics and statistics, and now brings his expertise to the university classroom where he teaches research methods and statistics. Inspired by his lifelong fascination with mental illness, Kaiden is dedicated to making a meaningful contribution to the psychology community through advancing his skills and enhancing the field's overall understanding of psychotic disorders and addictions.

As the youngest member of his research team, Kaiden brings a unique perspective on the role of digital media in the development of psychopathology. Having grown up in the digital era himself, he recognizes the significant influence that digital media can have on adolescent development, and hopes to bridge the gap between these two areas of study to promote a more thorough understanding of psychopathology
